Cohen and Wolf Cinco K De Mayo - 5K Road Race

THANKS FOR JOINING US ON OUR NEW DATE & WEEKEND AS WE KICK OFF CINCO DE MAYO A WEEK EARLY!  Think of it as a great warmup for the next weekend (5/5) - right?!

 

The race will still begin at the High Plains Community Center. BUT WE WILL HAVE A  NEW 5k (3.11mi) COURSE that is DIFFERENT FROM ALL THE OTHER EVENTS THAT START THERE. We will also offer a new, ONE MILE WALK - Untimed (or you can still walk the 5k distance and be timed), as well as a free KIDS HOT PEPPER SCAMPER and a VIRTUAL RUN for those who want to support the cause but can't be with us.

Dri-fit T-shirts will be given to the first 300 registrants- but after that it's "as available" (or not). So Pre-Register EARLY to get one of these great shirts. 

The donation fee to pre register is $27 for the 5k run/walk as well as the new one mile walk and our Virtual Run. The Kids Hot Pepper Scamper is FREE.

The fees increase to $30 on the day of the event. The 5K event distance will be computer timed. Awards will be given to the overall men's and women's champions as well as 1st-2nd-3rd in at least 8 age groups.   

The one mile walk and kids runs are untimed and non-competitive. 

Great food from TACO LOCO RESTAURANT** will be waiting for all participants when they get back to the finish. The Mexican spread includes but not limited to Tacos, Chips and Salsa. Margaritas for those 21 and over will also be available with a paid entry. 

We welcome ALL abilities as we get an early start to Cinco De Mayo- COSTUMES ARE WELCOMED AND ENCOURAGED. There might even be a few surprises for the best ones...

Plenty of parking on site, bathrooms, a pavilion where we have the food, fun and awards, and easy access from I-95 and the Merritt Parkway.
