Concord 5000 - Presented by Diablo Valley Federal Credit Union

Diablo Valley Federal Credit Union (DVFCU) is pleased to welcome you to our information page about the Concord 5000, a 5K run/walk benefiting the Blue Star Moms of Contra Costa County.

The event will take place at Newhall Park on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at 8 AM.  For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, registration for this event is capped at 500. This event will meet the criteria to be conducted with no special restrictions in place. Masks, social distancing, etc. will not be required. 

The course includes varied terrain including grass fields, single track trail, city streets, and a high school running track. Due to the terrain, strollers and pets are not permitted on the course. 

The race will take place rain or shine.  No refunds for inclement weather or any other reason including injuries, personal emergencies. etc.  If the event is unable to be conducted for public health and safety reasons, you will have the option of donating your registration fee to the Blue Star Moms or receive a refund.
