Coon Creek Classic

This summer join us for the 40th Annual Coon Creek Classic 2K & 10K Race!
10K begins at 8am and 2K begins at 8:05am

Registration and Pricing
Register online at runsignup.com/Race/IL/Hampshire/CoonCreekClassic or at the Hampshire Township Park District Office at 182 S. State St., Hampshire.

Online registration closes at 4:00pm on August 11. Registration re-opens on race day from 7:00am to 7:45am at Hampshire Middle School. In person registration only that day. No entries will be accepted after 7:45am.

2K/10K Prices

Hampshire residents: $35

Non-residents (nr): $40

2K- Child 12 years of age and under: $25/$30nr

Location
Race begins and ends at the Hampshire Middle School, 560 S. State Street,Hampshire,IL. The race will go on rain or shine. If weather is declared unsafe at start time, race will be delayed.

Race Bags
Entry fee includes a T-shirt and race bag. T-shirt sizes guaranteed for registrations received through July 21. Race bags will be available starting August 9th at 10am at the Hampshire Township Park District, 182 S. State St, Hampshire during office hours or pick up the day of the race. Bib numbers will be in the race bags and must be worn during the race. **We are SOLD OUT on both 2023 race shirts and bags**

Awards
AN AWARD CEREMONY WILL BE HELD IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE 2K RACE. Medals will be given to the top 3 male and 3 female finishers in each age division (10K & 2K). Plaques (10K only) to the top male and top female overall finishers and the top male and female finishers who reside in Hampshire. NO DUPLICATE AWARDS WILL BE PRESENTED. You must be present to receive your awards or they may be picked up the week following the race at the park office, they will not be mailed. Online results will be posted at j3timing.com at completion on the race.

Female and Male: 7U, 8-12, 13-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+

Additional Information
Strollers (permitted in 2K only) Bikes, skates, and dogs are not permitted in the races. Water stations will be available during the race. Online results will be posted at j3timing.com at completion on the race.
