Copper City Trail 14K

Just a few miles north of the historic mining town of Three Forks, Montana lie the newly-developed Copper City Trails.

​Thanks to the hard work of SWMMBA, the first phase of trail-building is complete! This dry climate offers a much-needed early season running spot for folks from Helena, Three Forks and Bozeman. Let's go check it out!

Cost
14K: $48
(plus online processing fees)

Race entry includes a technical race shirt and a complimentary barbecue lunch with 1 adult beverage (21+).

The race has a cap. Registration is based on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once this limit is reached, registration will be closed.

No transfers or refunds.

Course Overview
The course has a variety of terrain, on mostly technical singletrack trails and some double-track.
14k : The 14K course takes you through sagebrush flats, past the historic mining camps of Copper City and will have a steep climb to a high, rocky ridge with stunning views of the Tobacco Roots and the Jefferson Valley to the south. The course will climb ~1,200ft on this scenic, figure-8 style loop course**.

Start time: 9:00am

**Race organizers reserve the right to alter the course. (certain areas turn to "gumbo" when wet)

Aid Stations
There will be two (2) aid stations along this course. See map above for aid station locations. Each aid station will provide water and Gatorade.

Drop Bags
There will be a tent near the start/finish area for runners to drop any gear bags during the event.

Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up will take place at Bozeman Running Co. on Saturday, June 2nd from 10:00AM - 5:00PM
* BRC is located at 126 East Main Street, downtown Bozeman

There is NO race day packet pick-up, however you may have a family member or friend pick your packet up for you during the packet pick-up hours.

Parking
Parking will be near the start/finish area at the Copper City Trails parking area. Carpooling is encouraged!

Awards, Swag, & After Party (BBQ!)
The awards and BBQ will take place at the conclusion of the race. Each participant will receive a complimentary plate of food and 1 free adult beverage for those 21+. All runners will receive a technical race shirt.

There will be awards for the top three male & female finishers for both the 14K. There will also be awards for the top Masters (40+) runner male & female.
