Course Overview
New for 2019: As new trails have been developed since last year's inaugural race, we have redesigned the 2019 race course to allow for easy navigation, more single track and improved safety on the course.

The 2019 course is a simple lollipop route with 1,200ft of climbing. Starting at the Copper City TH, runners will take Green Eagle North, then take High Ore Connector. Runners will continue up a steady climb on Lower High Ore to South Motherlode, forming a small counter-clockwise loop with Upper and Lower High Ore Trail. This loop will spit runners back onto High Ore Connector, backtracking on Green Eagle North back to the finish! (see map below)

We designed the course this way so that there is only one place where the course intersects (at the High Ore loop). There will be one volunteer aid station stocked with water, gatorade, gels and basic first aid stationed at this intersection to keep runners stoked and on course.

The entire course will be heavily marked with neon BRC pin flagging, with extra markings when the course crosses other trails and 4x4 roads.

The course has a variety of terrain, on mostly technical single-track trails and some double-track. The course takes you through sagebrush flats, past the historic mining camps of Copper City and will have a steep climb to a high, rocky ridge with stunning views of the Tobacco Roots and the Jefferson Valley to the south. The course will climb ~1,200ft on this scenic, lollipop-style course.**

**Race organizers reserve the right to alter the course depending on conditions. (certain areas turn to "gumbo" when wet)

Aid Station
There will be one aid station that runners will encounter twice along the course (near mile 3 and mile 6 - at the start and end of the loop portion). See map above for aid station location. This aid station will be stocked with water, gatorade, gels and basic first aid.

Drop Bags
There will be a tent near the start/finish area for runners to drop any gear bags during the event.

Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up will take place at Bozeman Running Co. on Saturday, June 8th from 10:00AM - 5:00PM
* BRC is located at 126 East Main Street, downtown Bozeman.
