Costume for Kids 5K/1Mile Walk/Run

Get those costumes ready and your tennis shoes laced up because the 4th annual Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation’s Costumes for Kids 5K/1Mile Fun Run/Walk is coming up! This year it is our goal to get more families involved and make this a community event. We have made it free for children 16 and under AND free to all foster families. The cost for all other runners is just $25. The money earned from this event goes to Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation, which is a local non-profit that provides for the unmeet needs of the foster children in our county through the Prescott Courts. Currently there are over 300 of these children.
The date of this event is Sunday, October 15th, 2017. Walk up registration begins at 9am and the run itself begins at 10am. And it all starts at the center of town, at the Courthouse Square. You can choose to either run the full 5K, through the beautiful streets of our town, including the wonderful Mount Vernon street- or do the 1 mile fun walk by walking around the Courthouse Square a few times. And definitely come in costume! We have prizes at the end of the race/walk for best costumes in several different categories. There will be booths to enjoy that morning as well.

We are also looking for Sponsors, so if you have a business and would like to sponsor on a $1,000 Super Hero level, $750 Monster level, $500 Princess/Prince level or $250 Pumpkin level please contact us at [email protected] or through our website at YavapaiCASAforKids.org.
