Count Down 5K

Looking to bring in the New Year with a run or run/walk on New Year's Eve?  Then spend it with us.  You are invited to join us for a 5k jingle run through West Broad Village to celebrate the New Year.   The event is hosted by Race Team RVA Running Club.  Its free, unless you want a cool, commemorative long sleeve technical t-shirt, then you only pay $15.00.   Come join us.  The celebration starts at 11:00pm in front of the New Balance store in West Broad Village Shopping Center, next to Trader Joes.  We meet, run or run/walk, dress in running attire, dress crazy or not, with lights, lots of lights, or little lights, (but bring a light), run to enjoy the sights along West Broad Village (route provided), return to the New Balance Store to watch the ball drop in TimesSquare on our iPad, Toast in the New Year, then immediately head home.  What a great way to bring in the New Year!  Just register, its that simple.  Don't need to be a member of the club to join; just a willingness to be a part of something fun on New Year's Eve.
