Cow Pie Trail Run

The 4th Annual Cow Pie Trail Run route is a loop course traveling over gravel/dirt roads, cow paths, and the pastures of beautiful central Nebraska. The half marathon route goes through an old tree claim, beside a settler's cemetery, along an old wagon road, by windmills, and abandoned homesteads. This is the wide-open prairie of the pioneers! It is a tough course with holes, ruts, stickers, cow pies, and lots and lots of hills. But if the cows can do it, so can you! Post-race BBQ sandwiches, homemade desserts, and hay rack rides. Bring the entire family for an autumn country weekend!
