Das Bier Burner 5K at Keystone Oktoberfest

Prost! Bust out the lederhosen, it's time to burn off your Oktoberfest Biers & Brats! Join the Yeti and other fellow runners in this fun family-friendly 'Bier' run in the scenic Rocky Mountains as you kick off your Colorado Oktoberfest celebrations!  Enjoy a fun course of easy rolling hills and scenic mountain views at Keystone Resort!

A portion of the proceeds of this event will be donated to our main charity sponsor, SOS Outreach. SOS Outreach is a youth development nonprofit that fosters self-confidence, leadership skills, and positive decision making in underserved youth. SOS programs are unique in their use of adventure sports to engage participants for future success. Learn more at sosoutreach.org.

Every runner will receive a Das Bier Burner 5K t-shirt, goody bag and food and beverages at the post-race celebration! Those who are over 21 will receive a free beer at the finish line compliments of New Belgium!

Race begins in River Run Village at 12 pm, Saturday, September 3, followed by Oktoberfest Activities starting at 1 pm!    Costumes are encouraged... think Lederhosen or Dirndl and one contestant will be awarded with a Best Costume Prize!  After the race, be sure to stay for the live music and dancing! Sample beer from Colorado Breweries by purchasing an Oktoberfest stein or À la carte tickets. Free event parking is located in the Montezuma Lot at River Run Village.

Registration Information
Adults 21 & Up: $35 - Advanced Registration Until 8/19 $40 - Last Minute Registration Until 9/2 at 8 pm

Young Adult 13 - 20: $25 - Advanced Registration Until 8/19 $30 - Last Minute Registration Until 9/2 at 8 pm

Youth 12 & Under: $15 - Advanced Registration Until 8/19 $20 - Last Minute Registration Until 9/2 at 8 pm

Pre-registration for this event ends at 8 pm on Friday, September 2, 2016.

Race packet pick-up is at the SummitCove.com Lodging check-in office on Friday evening from 3 - 9 pm at 23110 US Hwy 6, Unit 6 in the Gateway Lodge.

Day-of registration and late packet pickups will be 8:45 am- 11 am on Saturday, September 3 at the SummitCove tent in River Run Village, near the main entrance.

Prizes will be awarded to top winners across multiple categories.  In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen trail conditions, the race organizers reserve the right to delay, cancel or reschedule the race. There are no refunds in the event of cancellation. Liability waiver must be completed in order to compete. T-Shirts are not guaranteed for same day registration. Course details will be posted soon.
