Beersheba Springs, Tennessee a hamlet on the South Cumberland Plateau is nestled next to popular natural attractions, the Great Stone Door and the Savage Gulf wilderness. For generations city dwellers have sought respite at Beersheba Springs. Yet this haven of natural beauty is located in Tennessee’s poorest county. Many year-round residents cannot afford medical care. In 2010, the community established the Beersheba Springs Medical Clinic, a not-for-profit medical facility, to provide free medical services for everyone. The clinic is supported entirely by voluntary donations and grants and has given free care to four thousand patients from 13 counties.
Dash to the Door registration is open at https://beershebaclinic.org/dash/ Or you can download the registration form from the clinic website and bring it to the race. Registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. on July 3rd at the clinic. The 3-mile race will begin at 8:00 a.m. The base entry fee is $10, but since this is a fund-raiser, we encourage you to give as much as you can. Walkers may walk the 3-mile route or a 2-mile route. Registered participants are eligible to receive drinks and a t-shirt (while supplies last). Prizes will be awarded to race winners by age class (55-over, 26-54, 17-25, 13-16, 12-under). The clinic will be open for tours.
Opportunities for race sponsorship are available and very much appreciated. Bronze level sponsorship begins at $500, Silver level at $1000, and Gold at $2,500. For your generous sponsorship, you and/or your business will be recognized during pre- and post-race communications and you will be provided with a certificate of appreciation for display throughout the year.
Please join us. By considering a tax-deductible gift of any amount to the Clinic, you can make a difference in the lives of those in this wonderful community. We look forward to seeing you on the mountain!
