DDR Dash 5-Miler

DDR Dash (5-Mile Hike / 5K Race / 1 Mile Fun Run Oct 26th, 2018 - 9:00am

 

For the second year, the Young Marines program will be hosting DDR Dashes across the Nation. These 5k races will start at 0900 everywhere so you will not only be running with the folks in your area, but thousands of people across the country.

This year, the Miami Valley unit is joining that cause. Where you can be a part of this massive event and earn some cool swag while doing it.

DDR stands for Drug Demand Reduction. This is a big part of the Young Marines program who continuously fight drugs in our local communities, especially with regard to other youth.

Those that sign up by 17 August are guaranteed a T-Shirt and Medal for completing the run. Those that register after that date may or may not receive these items (depending upon supply). The cost of the event is $25.

We will also have a 1 mile fun run for youth as well. Youth running this will get a T-shirt, but not the medal. The cost of this event is $10. If you don't register by 17 August we cannot guarantee a t-shirt. This race will begin at 0915.
