The run BEFORE the parade! 75,000+ cheering spectators along beautiful, tree-lined, Manatee Avenue make this a unique 5k experience.
Runners will race an out-and-back course along the route of the Hernando de Soto Historical Society Heritage Festival Grand Parade on Manatee Avenue down to around 37th St W and back to downtown Old Main. This is one of the most spectacular parades in the southeastern United States. The start and finish line are directly in front of O’Bricks Grille.

After party will be located again at Darwin Brewing Company and Taproom. All runners of age will receive a free craft beer with the special tear off from their bibs. They will have great food and live music so come on out and enjoy!
Shirts and sizes guaranteed to runners preregistering on/before April 10th (those after or on day of race receive shirts & sizes as available) Registration will be open during packet pick up and race day. However, shirts are only guaranteed to those who register prior to the deadline.

Your money (after race expenses are deducted) go to support local student running athletes. The De Soto Grand Parade 5k benefits the Bradenton Runners Club student athletic program which awards scholarships to high school seniors and financial aid to students wishing to attend summer running camps.
