The Desert Ultra takes place across 250km of the Namib Desert testing runners as they cross dried-up river beds, huge dune fields and run through grasslands with the majestic volcanoes and mountains as a back drop to the race. With the extreme conditions and amazing location this fantastic race awaits those willing to tackle this challenge.
The dry heat and 98km of tough ultra running during the first 2 stages will truly test your mental attitude and willingness to succeed. You will be self-sufficient during the race, carrying your own food, water, clothing and sleeping arrangements, replenishing your 2.5 litres of water at check points and base camps.
