Diamond Dash on the Avenues

5k Diamond Dash on the Avenues presented by Carreras Jewelers 5k Run/Walk - Plus Kids 1/2 Mile Run Saturday, October 20, 2018 Race Starts at 9:00 a.m.

Join us for the 1st 5k Diamond Dash on the Avenues presented by Carreras Jewelers, benefiting Bon Secours - Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House at St. Mary's Hospital. The race course will take you through the vibrant neighborhoods of the Westhampton neighborhoods, by way of Libbie, Grove and Patterson Avenues. This race is sure to add some sparkle to your day!

This is a charity race to benefit the Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House, a home away from home to families in need of safe, comfortable and convenient accommodations close to their loved ones receiving care at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital.  With your support, we can ensure the Reinhart Guest House remains a vital service to each and every family who needs safe, convenient and affordable lodging while their loved one is being cared for at St. Mary's Hospital.   

Race Location:  Evelyn D. Reinhart Guest House, located at 1100 Libbie Avenue, just North of Patterson Avenue.  If you are traveling West on Monument Avenue, take a left on Libbie Avenue and from the East, take a right.

Awards: Top three males and females receive a special recognition and prize.

GRAND PRIZE:  All runners who participate in the race will be eligible to win a Peter Storm 18kt white gold diamond halo pendant on a 17" chain, valued at  $4,200.00, from Carreras Jewelers.  You must be present to win.  The winner will be drawn at random from runners that cross the start line and the winner will announced before the first runner crosses the finish line.  This is an exciting opportunity to win a beautiful diamond necklace!  Your odds of winning are 1 in (# of runners that participate in the race).  You can't beat those odds!

Online race registration will open Friday, July 13

Online registration will close Thursday, October 18, at 12:00 p.m.

Race Day Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., October 20, at the Guest House.

Race Packet Pickup:   Friday, October 19, 2018 4– 7 p.m. race packet pick up and registration at Fleet Feet (5600 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23226)

RACE DAY:  Saturday, October 20, 2018

7:30-8:30 a.m.   Race day registration and bag pick up at the Reinhart Guest House

8:30 a.m.            Registration closes. You must register and pick up your packet by 8:30 a.m. on race day to participate.

8:45 a.m.            ½-mile Kids Fun Run starts

9:00 a.m.            5K starts Registration ½ miles Kids Fun Run is FREE, but you must register (Children 4 to 11).

Early Bird Registration   $25

· Race t-shirts are limited and not guaranteed, so register early
