All proceeds from this year’s event will benefit St. Baldrick’s Foundation and the Area 8 Special Olympics. St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a wonderful organization that funds the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers. The Area 8 Special Olympics serves Ingham and Eaton counties by providing the opportunity for individuals with intellectual disabilities to highlight their talents and skills through sports training and competition. Through Special Olympics, participants are able to gain self-confidence, obtain valuable like skills and be recognized at vital members of society.
