Dressed to Impress 5K and Fun Run by RHWRMA with TSHRM and DFS Triangle

As part of our annual fundraiser for the SHRM Foundation, the RWHRMA in partnership with TSHRM, hosts a 5K and fun run fundraiser. The goal is the help the broader HR community and local community. We contribute a portion of our funds each year to a local charity. This year we selected and are working with Dress for Success Triangle. DFST helps women achieve economic independence and find employment. 

About Our Charities

We will be supporting two 501(c)(3) nonprofits with this race.

Annually, this is our largest SHRM Foundation fundraiser. This year is the first year we selected to support Dress for Success - hence part of our theme - DFS is a great cause. It ties in very well with our SHRM cause and human resources. We hope this will be a good partnership for future opportunities.

Dress for Success Triangle is on a mission to provide meaningful employment and economic security to unemployed and underemployed women by offering career-development tools, a network of support and professional attire.

Medal Categories

Awards for age groups
Age Group awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers in the following groups:  10 and under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60-older.

The SHRM Foundation funds research grants aimed at the academic audience. 4th Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk

This is a fun, family and pet friendly event! Spend your morning with us exercising for a good cause!

This year we will have a timed run and a theme! "Dress to Impress" wear business casual from the waist up! A suit coat - if it is not too hot - or a tie? How about a loose button up or some business jewelry. We will look to pick the best costume (male and female)!!!

Proceeds from the event are funding the SHRM Foundation, which funds human resources research to improve the employment environment for employees and businesses alike. We are also donating a portion of the proceeds to Dress for Success - Triangle. Dress for Success helps women find meaningful employment and gain economic independence.
