You can do anything in a dress (or a tie). Like run a 5K.
For the past six years, the Dressember campaign and thousands of advocates have shown the world you can do anything in a dress by raising over $7 million to fund rescue and rehabilitation for those coming out of human trafficking. Now, for the 2nd year in a row, we’re putting our money where our mouth is — and running a 5K in dresses (and ties).
Why do we do this? We believe that all humans are inherently valuable. We raise funds and awareness to restore dignity to those who have had it stripped of them through human trafficking, and we do so by reclaiming the dress from a symbol of fragility and weakness, to a symbol of strength and freedom. Join us as we continue to raise money and awareness, 5K style.
