MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND COLOR RUN FOR OUR HEROES TO NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!
In Loving Memory of Jeremy Smithers!! Our son passed away in 2012 on Memorial Day at the young age of 22 years-old when he was in a fatal motorcycle accident after spending a beautiful day volunteering to honor our veterans at the Madingely Cemetery in Cambrige, England. Memorial Day weekend has a different meaning to our family as we honor all the service members that have gone before us, we also celebrate and honor the life of our son who was taken at such a young age on this very day and so honorable served his Country in the United States Air Force as well! Jeremy loved fitness and it brings me great pride to keep his passion alive and to give back to others!!
Last year proved to be another great time with an amazing turnout. Thank you to everyone who supported the event, the proceeds went to Jacob’s Journey!
I’m running for my hero. Who are you running for? If you have a hero that you have lost or would like to run for our hero come out and support this fun event in the Thumb of Michigan!! The best way to have fun is to color your tears with the joy of running for your hero.
Wear your grungiest white t-shirt, your coolest shades in hopes of being bombarded by red, white and blue!
Hope to see you there!!
