East Lake Ultra and 5K cross country race

The East Lake Ultra is a 50 and 100 mile trail run set on a 10 mile loop at East Lake park in Osceola Iowa.  There is a centrally located aid and food drop station that runners will go by 2 times per loop if they are in need of anything.  If you are not an Ultra marathon runner sign up for the 5K cross country race and run on the trails that the high school teams run on.  Enjoy the prairie and the woods as you run around the lake.  When you are finished stay to chear on the Ultra racers and have some food.  The 50 and 100 mile runners will have a 6 a.m. start time and the 5K cross country runners will have a 9 am start time.  Ultra racers are allowed 32 hours maximum to complete their run.

There will be a free meal for all 50 and 100 mile racers the night before the race.  T shirts and other goodies will be in your packet.  Packet pickup for the 50 and 100 mile race will start at 6 p.m. September 20 and end by 9 p.m.  Day of registration and packet pickup for the 5K will start at 7 a.m. the morning of the race.
