Join us for the annual Edgewater 5k Run/1mi Walk, the only race course that includes Sheridan Road and the lakefront path! The Edgewater 5k raises money for all schools in the 48th Ward, both private and public. Your investment in today’s students is an investment in the future, as many of the 48th Ward graduates stay in the community. Since the race began in 2014 we have raised $17,000 for 48th Ward schools.
NEW THIS YEAR! Children ages 3-5 can register to run in Edgewater’s Kids’ Race (50 meters long). This race is open to any child between the ages 3-5 ONLY. Please note the Kids’ Race is separate from the Edgewater 5k/ 1mi Walk and not included in those registration fees. Parents that want their children (ages 3-5 only) to run in the Kids’ Race must register each participating child separately. Kids’ Race fee includes participation in the 50-meter race and a t-shirt.
