El Mirage Salute to Veterans 5K Run

3rd annual El Mirage Salute to Veterans 5K Run. Saturday, November 3, 2018. Begin and end in beautiful Gateway Park at 10100 N. El Mirage Road. This is a loop course down brand new El Mirage Road.

The race is chip timed and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place is awarded in each group. We use the following groups for both men and women: 09 & Under, 10-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over, and Overall Fastest.

In lieu of an entry fee, runners are asked to make a donation with all proceeds from the 5K run going to the Maricopa Community Colleges Foundation for the Military Success Center West Valley to support holistic support for transitioning military, veterans, and spouses. Donation receptacles will be available at the race start.

All participants will receive an official race t-shirt. Pre-race warm up class offered free by NW Valley YMCA. Free ice water to all participants. Post race Firefight Charity Pancake Breakfast is offered. Donation requested to partake.
