A 5K run that just wants to see you on the run. With early registration priced at $7 (seven, not a typo) and the first 100 entrants getting a dogwood tree, this is an event you don’t want to miss! Just like the 2020 event, we’ll do this as an individual time trial and on mountain bike trails to make sure you can have a great run while social distancing. Runners will start in 20 second intervals and race the clock, with results sorted after all runners finish. All proceeds are used to do good in the community. Past projects include: replacing picnic tables damaged by flooding, bike racks, planting 100 trees, and more! We don’t want to make money on this event… but when we do, we won’t keep it!
A great event for:
-first time runners looking for a chill event that’s less intimidating
-experienced runners who don’t need another T-shirt
-inviting friends and family to be healthy together
Age group awards 14 & Under to 60+, and the Delynn Kuhn Lifetime Achievement Award (age minus time).
