Enjoy like minded folks in a small town 5k to celebrate healthy living and support the running programs at Evart Public Schools.
Refreshments and music will be waiting for you at the finish line. Support on the course will be provided by generous volunteers, Evart Police Dept., the Evart Fire Dept., and the Osceola County Civilian Emergency Response Team.

PETS are prohibited from participating in the event
All finishers in the 5k walk will receive a deluxe finisher ribbon. The 5k run medals will be awarded to places 1-3, male and female, in 5 year age groups (8 and under, 9-13, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over), and trophies to the overall male and female winners. The overall winners will also earn a ride in the Evart Independence Day Parade. All runners 8 and under receive a finisher medal if not top 3.
The runner or walker wearing the best patriotic costume will receive a plaque. A panel of judges will determine the costume winner. Awards can be picked up in the finish line tent shortly after the race.
Entry before June 20th is $20 for adults, $10 for school age (0-18yrs). A $5 late entry fee will be added on June 20th. $50 max per immediate family, call or e-mail to receive discount. Results will be available immediately after the race at the finish line and will be posted on the Evart July 4th 5k website (https://evart5kwalkrun.wixsite.com/evart5k) later that day. Packets can be picked up on July 3rd from 2:00-6:30 PM at the Evart Elementary School or on race day beginning at 6:30 AM at the start.
