F.A.S.T. 5K for Stroke Awareness

Arkansas Methodist Medical Center are partners with University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) AR SAVES program (Arkansas Stroke Assistance through Virtual Emergency Support)  The Emergency Department proudly announces our 2nd Annual F.A.S.T. 5K race event for stroke awareness.  Know the signs and symptoms of stroke and save yourself and or a loved one.  F –facial weakness or uneven smile  A – weakness in one Arm  S- speech, listen for slurring.  T – time is crucial, call 911!!  STROKE IS A BRAIN ATTACK and brain cells are dying and is an emergency just like a heart attack!!  CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY
