Families are Forever 5K

Please join us in this Families Are Forever 5K, all proceeds go towards the Darcy Cassidy Memorial Scholarship, non-profit organization.  Darcy left us a legacy, her will to live, laugh and love every day.  This amazing opportunity to promote healthy exercise, share quality time with your friends, family and community, and some early morning fresh air proves to honor Darcy’s memory.  The race starts and finishes at her beautiful bench given by her classmates that is located in the courtyard at the front of the Meridian High School.  She would have graduated in the year 2023, had cancer not taken her precious life at such a young age of 13.  She is loved and missed by so, so many, and has certainly left her mark. 

There will be breakfast burritos and Kolaches and waters available for sale. 

This 5K will be a timed event for those who choose, but also for pure enjoyment of a walk/run combination, at your leisure. 

We hope that you enjoy Meridian’s National Championship Barbecue Cookoff that will be located at Bosque Bottoms throughout the weekend.

Race t-shirts will be guaranteed to 5K and 1 Mile Darcy Fun Run racers registered by October 12th, 2020.

Registration Fees (thru Oct 02nd):

5K - $30.00 ages 13 and up

1M Darcy Fun Run $20.00

Registration Fees (after Oct 02nd):

5K - $35.00 ages 13 and up

1M Darcy Fun Run $25.00

Age Divisions: 5K ONLY!!!!

Male and Female, 12 and under, 13-17; 18-25; 26-29; 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over

5K Medals will go to all present registered runners

1M Darcy Fun Run will all receive ribbons
