FCancer Race

Everyone knows someone touched by Cancer, so you know what?? FCANCER! Let all get together and run for a cause that has touched so many. This race is to benefit the children of my dear friend Rebecca Dahl who was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was eleven weeks pregnant with her fourth child. She received eight weeks of chemotherapy and radiation after a right sided mastectomy. Baby Ezekiel, was born healthy and then Rebecca received seven more weeks of chemotherapy and more radiation.

Approximately three years later her cancer came back but this time it was in her bones. She continued to fight and received more chemotherapy and radiation but sadly the cancer was too aggressive and she passed on Friday, September 21st 2018 surrounded by her children and loving family. Rebecca not only touched my life but so many other lives. Wherever she went she was loved, her light just shined so bright. She was definitely one of gods angles, and he has called her home. She leaves behind four beautiful children, and left us all saying "FCancer!"

I decided to start an annual charity race in her name, the "FCancer" 5K/10K, one hundred percent of the race profits will go directly to her children. Tentative race date is set for Saturday Feb 23, 2019. Runners mark your calendars. Let see how much we can raise for her beautiful kids, while keeping Rebecca's memory alive in our hearts.
