The Woodard & Curran Foundation is excited to announce the fifth annual Easy as Pi Road & Trail Race (that’s 3.14159265359 miles!).
The race will start at 9:15 a.m. on the road at 41 Hutchins Drive, Portland, ME, and wind its way through the Portland Trails. Walkers are welcome! The race cost is $20 for racers who preregister, or $25 on the day of the race.
After the race we will celebrate with free pie for all runners and walkers! Prizes for overall male and female winners along with age groups!
Please bring the whole family! A free kids race will take place at 8:45 a.m. prior to the Pi Race.
Race proceeds will support grants to non-profits with environmental missions focused on creating a healthier world. Past recipients include student chapters of Engineers Without Borders, AquaClara engineering team at Cornell University, and Mill City Grows, which creates urban food production sites all over the city of Lowell, MA and provides the tools for safe urban growing.
