5K AWARDS

Top Overall Male and Female $100 cash

2nd Overall Male and Female $50 cash

3rd Overall Male and Female $25 cash

Medals for Top Male and Female in each age group (10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59,

60-69, 70-79, 80+)

PETS WELCOME

Must be on a leash. Pit Bulls, German Shepherds and Dobermans not permitted per insurance regulations.

VIRTUAL RACE

Run your virtual Race solo, or grab the family, neighbors and friends to join in with you. Choose to

run/walk/wag at any location and time of day you want. We recommend joining in the fun on May 6th

VIRTUALLY from your location. Be sure to share your selfies with us via Facebook!

related swag item and Lyme race bib. Race swag will be mailed by April 28. (Those participating in the virtual

race are not eligible for awards or raffles.)

POST RACE ACTIVITIES

Please be sure to join us after the race for prizes, awards ceremony, sponsor displays, games and

AWARENESS EXPO! PREVENTION IS THE BEST EDUCATION!

ALABAMA LYME DISEASE ASSOCIATION is designated as a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue

Service; your donations are tax deductible. All net proceeds will go directly to ALDA and will be used to

educate the public and physicians about symptoms, diagnosis, treatments and methods of prevention as well

as to fund Lyme disease research efforts.

REFUNDS

Please note there are no refunds. The Fight the Bite 5K/1K Fun Run Walk & Wag will be held May 6 rain or

shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, your entry fee will be used as

a donation to Alabama Lyme Disease Association.
