Baylee is a beautiful, bright and fun 6 year old little girl. She loves princesses, playing dress up and really anything girly .
Baylee was recently diagnosed with Kidney Cancer (Wilms tumor) stage III possibly stage IV since they did find a nodule in her lung as well. We will know more in the upcoming weeks with more testing. She has spent nearly 3 straight weeks in the hospital due to complications from her tumor rupturing. (Only 10% of Wilms tumors rupture). She has started chemo therapy and will continue until the tumor shrinks enough to do surgery, at that point they will remove the tumor along with her right kidney. After surgery she will continue chemo therapy for at least 6 months and then radiation to the abdomen where the tumor ruptured. They are hoping the Chemo will take care of the nodule in the lung, if not they will require radiation to the lung as well. Baylee and her family have a long road ahead of them. We are praying for Strength, not only for Baylee but also for her parents Chris and Wendy.
So many people (local and of distance) have expressed their desire to help and support the family in whatever way possible. Since we can’t help with the medical part of Baylee’s healing, I thought we could help by taking some of the financial burden off of the family so they can focus on Baylee and her road to recovery.
Any and All support is greatly appreciated. Thank you for loving, caring, and most of all praying for this beautiful little girl and her sweet family.
