Flats Mile

For the fourth year, Van Cortlandt Track Club is proud to present the VCTC Flats Mile! 

Held hopefully in the physical sense on Saturday, June, 13 2020, we are providing a festive atmosphere for the start of Summer with fun for the whole family! HOWEVER, IN LIGHT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND CHANGES IN THE PERMITTING OF GROUP EVENTS, WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF STRUCTURING A VIRTUAL VERSION OF OUR EVENT :)

Registration opens at 8am, with 4 heats of the 1-mile every twenty minutes starting at 9am for Masters Women (40+), 9:20am Masters Men (40+), 10:10am Open Women (10+) and 10:30am (Open Men (10+) respectively. 

A 100-800-meter kids fun-run will culminate the events :)

Race registration and check-in will take place on grounds of the Van Cortland House Museum, Bronx starting at 8am and ending at 8:45am before the first Mile heat. 
Mile races will Start from the Tortoise and Hare Statue across from Lloyd’s Carrot Cake on the West side of the Parade Grounds and finish at the Cortlandt House Museum where your finish will be celebrated.
