Folsom Blues Breakout

Half Marathon, Relay and 5K runners "breakout" at the start on the "Johnny Cash Bridge" (Folsom Crossing) in the shadow of Folsom Prison and next to the Folsom Dam. Half Marathon and Relay runners rock out to Johnny’s rock-a-billy tunes while they follow a scenic, net-downhill, gently rolling course along Lake Natoma to the finish in Folsom’s famous Historic District. The 5K runners zoom down and across the Rainbow Bridge to their own finish nearby. All who "cross that line” will be rewarded with finisher medallions, lots of refreshments, a Johnny Cash tribute band, and free beer at the Finish Line Festival! The FREE Kids 1K takes place in Historic Folsom near the "big kids" finish area.

Log on to RunSignUp and follow the instructions below or download the pdf on the right with these instructions. Click on "Profile" (upper right corner) Click "My Registered Races" (in the lower left column dark blue box) and find your Folsom Blues Breakout Event. If you do not see your Folsom Blues Breakout event on your "My Registered Races" page, see Troubleshooting information below. Click on the "Manage Registration"  link for the Folsom Blues Breakout event. A page with your registration information will open and there are left side tabs with editing choices. Note: Or use the "Manage Your Registration" link in your registration confirmation email. See "Troubleshooting" below to recover your confirmation if you do not have it.

 

Update Your Hotel and/or Packet Pick Up Information  Click on the left side tab labeled "Questions" and edit the information as needed Click on "Continue". Review the updated information and if all is correct, click on "Confirm Change". If not correct, click on the "Back" button and make corrections, review and "Confirm Change". You will receive a confirmation rmail with the updated "Questions" information.

 

Manage Your Bus Ticket Options  Click on the tab for "Add-Ons" and make the changes on your bus ticket options. Click "Continue". Review the updated information, make any payments necessary, and click "Confirm". You will receive a confirmation email with your updated Add Ons information.

 

Change your event or update your user information From your FBB event page, click on the left side tab labeled “Transfer Event” and in the window that opens, click on “Start Transfer”. In the window that opens, follow the prompts to make your changes. IMPORTANT! If you are changing from the Relay to the 5K or Half Marathon, contact [email protected] for assistance. Note that you may also edit your user information from your profile page.

 

Troubleshooting

 

Recovering your Confirmation Email
*Note: If you did not receive your confirmation make sure to check the spam folder in your email client. Sign In to RunSignUp.com. Go to your Profile. Click My Registered Races. Click "View/Edit" next to the event registration for the confirmation email needed. Click the "Resend Confirmation Email" link. Check the email listed in your Profile for your registration confirmation. Under the "My Registration" tab, just beneath the participant name, is the link to "Resend Confirmation E-mail" for the confirmation email associated with that registration to be sent to that email address.

 

If your Folsom Blues Breakout event is not listed in "My Registered Races", here are reasons and solutions: Your registration is associated with a sub-account of another user: Someone registered you for a race using their account, so you were created as a sub-account. Click here to learn how to transfer the registration to your existing account. You used a different email address to register: You can merge accounts with different email addresses by following this guide. You may not have completed and paid for your registration: If you have a charge on your credit card that has posted, please email [email protected]. If you do not have a charge on your account, then you are likely not yet registered. Your registration has a typo: you may have registered with an email typo. Please email [email protected]
Lifers Discount

IMPORTANT DETAILS

Any combination of entries into a Folsom Blues Breakout Half Marathon, Relay and 5K count toward your LIFER status. The Kids 1K Breakaway does not count. You will receive an email in early December when race registration opens with your unique registration code for 20% off your entry fee. If you do not have this and are a LIFER, email [email protected] for your discount code. Please remember to always be consistent in spelling your name on your entry form (i.e. no "Bob" one time, then "Robert" the next). If there have been changes in your name, or perhaps there was a typo in your name, please email [email protected] to report changes. Packet Pick Up Times

Friday (Oct. 19) 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 20) noon-5:00 p.m. Sunday - Race Day (Oct. 21) 6:00 to 6:30 a.m. with free parking and bus to the start ($8) option. Click here to purchase your bus-to-the-start ticket. Bus ticket purchase includes a return bus ride to the Dick's Sporting Goods parking lot from the finish area.

 

KIDS 1K BREAKAWAY

Pick up your packets at the Friday and Saturday locations and times described above, as well as on race morning from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. near the Finish Area in Historic Old Town Folsom.
Repeat Offenders Discount

IMPORTANT DETAILS

Any combination of entries into a Folsom Blues Breakout Half Marathon, Relay and 5K count toward your REPEAT OFFENDER status. The Kids 1K Breakaway does not count. You will receive an email in early December when race registration opens with your unique registration code for 10% off your entry fee. If you do not have this and are a Repeat Offender, email [email protected] for your discount code. The posted list will contain 4,3,2 and 1x Repeat Offenders, with each category in alphabetical order. Please remember to be consistent in spelling your name on your entry form (i.e. no "Bob" one time, then "Robert" the next). If there have been changes in your name, or perhaps there was a typo in your name, please email [email protected] to report changes.
