About the event
The 23rd FREEDOM RUN is run on New Mexico’s fastest 5K (3.1 mile) race course. In 2019 there were 11 runners under 20 minutes. DAVID KIPLAGAT was the First Male winner in 16:07 and JENNA THURMAN the First Female winner in 17:40.
This years Freedom Run is supporting Reginald “Reggie” Chavez Elementary School https://rces-aps-nm.schoolloop.com/. Reginald Chavez “Tigers” is a grades K-5 facility with approximately 280 students located directly off Mountain Road in the heart of Old Town and one mile from the Freedom Run race course.
