Freedom's March (Valley Forge) 1/2 and Full Marathon

Schuylkill River Runners is Proud to Present the 2nd Annual Valley Forge Half and Full Marathon:

Date: Sunday October 4th, 2020. Registration opens at 6:00am IF NOT SOLD OUT. Half Marathon Starts at 8am, Full Marathon Starts @ 7AM , Free Children's 800Meter @ 11:00 AM!! ALL races will start and end @ Fitzwater Bar & Grill

Bib Pickup: Will be day of the race, we may have a Saturday option as well TBD

POST RACE PARTY: Awards for both the half marathon and Full will take place @the conclusion of each event at Fitzwater station. (a DJ will be stationed near the Start/Finish area to encourage runners and entertain the crowed)

Location: 264 Canal St, Phoenixville, PA 19460

Course: ½ Marathon: Will Start and End at Fitzwater Station and travels through the infamous Valley Forge National Park (Staying entirely on the SRT) then heads back (Very Flat and Fast.) Full Marathon: It IS a BOSTON qualifier!! The  race will start at Fitzwater and go along the SRT.  (BOTH courses are FLAT,FAST and Scenic) Great for trying to set a new PR!!!!

Charities: Multi-Service, they are a wonderful organization that helps w/a meals to wheels program, providing transportation for people and care for the elderly

FEES: Half marathon- Early Bird, Before 3/1/2020 is $60, up to 6/1/2020 is $65, from 6/1/2020 to 8/30/2020 $75 then, $80 up to and on race day if not sold out  Full Marathon- Before 3/1/2020 $65, up to 6/1/2019 is $75, from 6/1/2020 to 8/30/2020 is $80 then $90 up to and on race day if not sold out

Awards: (FOR ALL RACES) There are age group awards in each division for both male and female runners, as well as the top three male and female overall will receive special awards in both Open and Masters (40+) categories

Age Groups: 19 & under 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

T-Shirts: Race themed Short sleeve tech shirt

Aid Stations: There will be Aid Stations all along the course w/both water and Gatorade and a few w/some Surprises sure to please!!  (Paramedics will also be stationed on the course)

Finisher's Medal: A unique Medal symbolic w/Valley Forge (that is sure to please) will be given to all participants in the half & full marathon!! Also, A free drink to all those participants 21+

Finish Line: There will be a live dj/entertainer at the start/finish area during the race running contests with giveaways

Time Limit: 7 hours for the full &   for the Half
