Friends of Hospice 3 & 5k Walk to Remember in partnership with Hannover Re 10k & Half Marathon Race

Walk to Remember is organized by Friends of Hospice,the charity supporting Agape House and hospice care in Bermuda. All proceeds from this event are used to provide programmes and services that enhance the quality of life for hospice patients and their family. Please join us to celebrate family, friends and loved ones who are living with a life limiting illness and to remember those we have lost.

What’s the Walk Route? 

“All routes will begin and end at Tucker’s Property, South Shore Road. Choose the best route for you:


Walkers, 3k & 5k-

Leave Camden Road, starting in line with Happy Talk Lane. Head west to Trimingham Hill round-a-bout going into town. Enter Crow Lane round-a-bout staying in the right lane until you reach the lay-by adjacent to B.U.E.I., through the lay-by onto the left lane heading out of town. Upon reaching Crow Lane, take a left onto Point Finger Road to South Shore junction. Take a left on South Shore Road, back to the Camden grounds to the finish line.


10k Run-

The course is as follows – Leave Camden Road, starting in line with Happy Talk Lane. Head west to Trimingham Hill round-a-bout going into town. Enter Crow Lane round-a-bout staying in the right lane until you reach the lay-by adjacent to B.U.E.I., through the lay-by onto the left lane heading out of town. Upon reaching Crow Lane, take a left onto Point Finger Road to South Shore junction. Left on South Shore Road, follow the main road and turn on McGalls hill, near the top and head back to the Camden grounds to the finish line.


Half Marathon-

The course is as follows – Leave Camden Road, starting in line with Happy Talk Lane. Head west to Trimingham Hill round-a-bout going into town. Enter Crow Lane round-a-bout staying in the right lane until you reach the lay-by adjacent to B.U.E.I., through the lay-by onto the left lane heading out of town. Upon reaching Crow Lane, take a left onto Point Finger Road – along Point Finger Road to South Shore junction. Left on South Shore Road, follow the main road into Tucker’s Town. Left onto Paynter’s Road – continues until the end of Paynter’s Road-a-bout turn heading back to the Camden grounds to the finish line.


Refreshments will be provided at the end of the route, awaiting your arrival.”


Who Can Participate? 


You can. Everyone in Bermuda is welcome – pick the walk route that suits your level of fitness and we will be there to
cheer you on. We just want you to join us.

How Can I Participate? 

By Signing up online you will automatically have a fundraiser page setup for you and a link emailed to you to use.


OR


Fill in your pledge sheet and invite your friends and family to do the same or sponsor you! You can also pledge yourself.
There is no minimum and all the money raised goes to help the residents of Agape House and their families.
If you do not feel like walking but would like to support Agape House, you may enclose your donation in the pledge
sheet and mail it to us at Friends of Hospice, Suite 124, 48 Par-La-Ville Road, Hamilton HM 11.
Alternatively, just come and walk alongside us to show your support for Agape House. 


A Pre-Paid Walk 

We encourage you all to do a prepaid walk. This means that you ask sponsors for their pledge up-front and turn the funds in when you register on the morning of the walk. Your co-operation would greatly help us with our administration.
Cash or cheques acceptable. Cheques made payable to ‘Friends of Hospice’.
