Friends of Montfort 5k Run / Walk, for the Education of Deaf Children in Haiti

Join us for a 5k Run/Walk around the beautiful Hempstead Lake for a great cause!!!  Registration fee, sponsorship, and all donations will go towards assisting Institute Montfort, a school for deaf and deaf/blind children in Haiti. Our current fundraising projects include: providing funding and support for Institute Montfort's summer camp program, and helping to publish Haiti's, first ever, Haitian Sign Language book!

COURSE: Hempstead Lake State Park, Start and Finish will be at parking lot field #1. Course is a fast and flat, unpaved trail, looping around the beautifully scenic Hempstead Lake; an amazing cross country style running experience! This 5k Run/Walk-a-thon is professionally timed and organized by Start2Finish Corp.
**Sorry, no baby strollers or pets allowed on race course**
