Frigid 8 and Thermal 3

This is the 48th annual running of the Frigid 8 and Thermal 3. The course begins in a residential neighborhood and immediately heads out into the open fields, rolling hills and dairy farms west of Chippewa Falls. The Frigid 8 is a lollipop course. The Thermal 3 is out and back. Both courses continue beyond the starting line and have three street corners added at the end. the first 150 registrants will receive a pair of thermal underwear. The overall winners, male and female, receive special awards and the top 3 men's and women's age group finishers receive special Christmas ornaments. Runners are also eligible for prizes based on race numbers picked randomly. Plenty of food, hot beverages and cold beverages are available after the race and runners can have their fill of home-cooked chili.
