Frostbite 15K

This is the 34th annual Frostbite 15K, one of the Richmond Road Runners Club's signature events. It is a RRRC Grand Prix race and is chip-timed. The course is an out-and-back, USATF certified route through Byrd Park and the neighborhoods bordering Byrd Park and Maymont. Much of the course is flat but there are some testy hills. We will have an indoor facility at Amela Street School, which is at the course Start/Finish. Registration is limited to 1,000 runners.

Late Registration

There will be registration available during packet pick-up on Saturday, January 21st at Fleet Feet Sports Richmond between 10:00a.m. and 2:00p.m.  The fee is $55 for all participants.  T-shirts will not be available for those who registered after January 4th.

Packet Pick-up

There are two options for the Frostbite 15K packet pick-up:

Race Awards

RRCA Championship Medals will be awarded to both men and women in the following categories: Overall, Master (40+), Grand Master (50+), and Senior Grand Master (60+). No single runner can win two awards from the RRCA. There will be gift certificates to the top three males and females for the first three people in the standard RRRC age groups.

Weather Conditions

This race is scheduled rain/snow/shine. In the event of weather or unforeseen circumstances that cause the race to be postponed or cancelled, an email will be sent to all participants. In the event of postponements or cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, there will be no refunds.
