Gabriella's 5K Cupcake Run

Join us for a great cause. Gabriella’s Smile Foundation is hosting their Second Annual 5k Cupcake Run on May 18, 2019. The 5K where everyone Runs for Cupcakes! Burn off some calories and enjoy a cupcake (or two) on us! Runners AND walkers welcome! This is a family friendly event for everyone and kids ages 5-14 can register as official participants.  May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month and we are raising money for Pediatric Brain Cancer Research. Cupcakes were Gabriella‘s favorite  and we want to share some with you while raising money to help fund brain cancer research and The Cure Starts Now. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to The Cure Starts Now. Since 2007, The Cure Starts Now has been one of the leaders in non-government funding of pediatric brain cancer research and a pioneer to the efforts to find the homerun cure to all cancers, starting with DIPG. 100% of donations made to The Cure Starts Now go directly to research. This means your money is used in the most efficient way possible. The Cure Starts Now is not just another cancer charity, but the only cancer charity dedicated to the “homerun cure” – curing cancer, one child at a time. We are proud to support this foundation as part of Gabriella’s Smile Foundation’s mission to help FUND research. During the registration process, you will be given the option to create or join a group. Once the "Group/Team" window pops up, choose whether you want to join an existing team or create a new group/team. You will be given the fields needed to create and join your own group if you are creating a new team. We will be recognizing and offering special prizes to the largest team and the biggest fundraising team.  Our goal is to raise $15,000 for research and to help families fighting pediatric brain cancer so we need your help! All registrants have the option of becoming a fundraiser.  During the registration process, you can make a donation or choose "Become a Fundraiser" to start fundraising as an individual or as a team. We would love it if all of our registrants could raise at least $100 on behalf of our foundation. You have nothing to lose, so give it a try. It's easy to do... you probably have 10 friends who could spare $10! You can help us raise more money for pediatric brain cancer research. Together we can find a cure for DIPG!

Recognition to the top male and female finishers in each of the following age groups:

Chip timing is required to be eligible for awards. No duplicate awards will be given. The event will go on rain or shine unless the weather poses unsafe conditions. No refunds will be given in the event of cancellation due to unsafe weather conditions.
