About the event
The Cajun Cup 10K and 1 mile is a fund raiser used to support the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Cross Country and Track. Your Participation is greatly appreciated. No refunds for this event will be given.
Once again we will be utilizing Chip Timing this year. Timing Chips will be issued with your race number. Also, since we are utilizing timing mats at the start and finish, results will be calculated based on time and not finish position.
Help support Lafayette Catholic Services, donate your old running shoes to help those less fortunate. Collection will be at Geaux Run, Friday and race morning.

The course will close at approximately 2 hours. Race officials may ask you to move to the sidewalk if you need more time to finish.

Pre-registration Fees for the 10K
$30 through August 31
$35 September 1st through September 30
$40 October 1st through October 31
$45 November 1st through Friday before the Race
Registration Fee for the 1 Mile
$25 through September 30th
$30 October 1st through Friday before the Race
Packet Pickup – Packets may be picked up on Friday, November 10th between 9:00 am – 7:00 pm at Geaux Run, 906 Harding Street, Lafayette, LA. T-Shirts will be available for those pre-registered by Nov 6th.
On-site registration available for $45 (1 mile $30) on Friday, Nov. 10th. Individuals who register Friday may pick up their shirts if available, otherwise after Dec 15th at the Geaux Run.
Saturday, November 11, 2017Packet Pickup– Packets may be picked up between 6:30 am and 7:45 am at Parc Sans Souci. After 7:45 am the table will be closed. The 10K starts at 8:05 am.
Age Groups:Age Groups – 9 and under, 5 year increments, 70 and older
Awards:First Place Overall Male and Female plus Overall Male and Female Masters(40+), Grand Masters(50+) and Senior Grand Masters(60+) winners to receive specially designed awards plus Cajun Cup Mug.
Age group winners receive a specially designed Cajun Cup Mug with second and third place to receive Cajun Cup medals.
All 10K Runners will receive a finisher's medal upon finishing the race.
