Gerês Extreme Marathon

Extreme Gerês Marathon is organized by Carlos Sá Nature Events with the support of the municipality of Terras de Bouro.
On Saturday 1st December it will take place the 2nd Extreme Mile, which will have an average slope of 35% and 525 m D + in just 1 mile. This event has a limited number of entries.
The main races will take place on Sunday 1st December and will be 42 km (individual and relay), 21 km and 13 km and are not yet approved by the Portuguese Athletics Federation.
Relay Marathon (3 people per team) – each athlete will cover approximately 1/3 of the distance of the race (the choice of the segment can be made on the day of the race,). The transfer to the transition point (and to the finish line, in the case of 1st and 2nd segment athletes) will be made by bus, provided by the organization.
