Ghost Fun Run 5K & 1K

The Ghosts and bats are in full flight for the second annual Mission Granbury 5k Ghost Run and 1m Fun Run/walk, Saturday, October 12th, along Granbury’s beautiful Hike And Bike Trail. This year the run is the same date as Octoberfest (October 11th,12th, and 13th) which features German food, rousing music, polkas and of course beer (for those of age), and plenty of beverages for the younger crowd with entertainment for all.  This is a” bring the whole family” event and we promise you an unBOOlievable time in delightful Granbury.  The run is a chip-timed run by RACE DAY EVENT SERVICES with medals for those placing and participation ribbons for those doing the 1m Fun Run/Walk.  This will be a family fun weekend you won’t want to miss!!

Run time is 7:00 pm beginning at Hewlett Park on Pearl St. across from the Granbury city beach and we promise fun surprises along the run.

Volunteers will be along the route for directions or assistance and the route is patrolled by the Granbury Police Department Citizens Patrol

Race t-shirts are guaranteed to racers registered by October 1st.

1m - ribbons for all participants in the 1-mile run/walk

Early packet pickup – October 7th – 11th 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at Mission Granbury, 3611 Plaza East Court (street behind Grumps Burgers)

Race Day Schedule:

Walk up registration – 5:30pm -6:30pm

5k Run at 7:00 pm

1 Mile – 5 minutes after last 5 K runner starts
