Giant Omelette Celebration 5K & 2 Mile Fun Walk

 GIANT OMELETTE CELEBRATION
 5K TIMED RUN & 2 MILE FUN WALK
                                         

 

WHERE:     ABBEVILLE, LA (CONCORD STREET IN FRONT OF

VERMILION PARISH COURT HOUSE).

BENEFIT:   ST. MARY MAGDALEN CHRISTIAN SERVICE CENTER

 

REGISTRATION:    EARLY REGISTRATION $25 until September 30th.

                                LATE REGISTRATION $30 October 1st-Nov 2nd

                                RACE DAY REGISTRATION $35 (Begins 8 a.m.)

**We are giving each participant on the day of the race a drawstring bag(backpack) with our Eggman running Logo on it. 

 

Event opens the Giant Omelette Festival weekend of events. It takes place in the heart of downtown Abbeville, near Magdalen Square where wonderful food vendors, drinks, merchandise vendors and bands play throughout the weekend. See www.giantomelette.org for details of the weekend events. 

*Race starts 8:00 a.m. with warm up exercise starting at 7:40 A.M.

*5K RUNNERS: Timed run by Cajun Timing.

*WALKERS: 2 Mile Fun Walk awards will be given for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place

finishers (without timing.)

*INDIVIDUALS and TEAMS ARE WELCOME FOR 2 MILE WALK

 

*AWARDS FOR HIGHEST CONTRIBUTING TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL DONATIONS

*AWARDS FOR FASTEST FINISHING TIME IN AGE CATEGORIES FOR THE 5K RUN 

Age Groups:   ( 9-11, 12-14,15-19,20-29,30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+) 

5K Runners Awards:  Top Overall M&F, Top Masters M&F, Top Grandmasters M&F. 1st, 2nd and 3rd M&F in each age group.
