Glow 5K for Boone and Winnebago Counties

We are excited to announce the Second Annual Glow 5K for Relay for Life of Boone and Winnebago Counties. The 5K will take place on June 2nd, 2018 at 9 pm at the Boone County Fairgrounds. We will start at twilight and finish in the dark. The event will be chip timed by Racing Expectations and awards will be given to the top overall and age group finishers. Age groups will be divided as the following:  12 and under, 18 and under, 21 and under, 30 and under, 45 and under, 60 and under, 61 and over, best overall male and female also best cancer survivor male and female.

A portion of every entrance fee will be donated to Relay for Life of Boone and Winnebago Counties. Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in more than 5,200 communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it's time to take action against cancer. Join us at our event to bring our communities together to remember loved ones lost, honor survivors of all cancers, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society make a global impact on cancer.

Before the race join us in any and all of the activities that will be taking place at this year's Relay for Life event. After the race please join in our Luminaria Ceremony where we remember those we have lost, celebrate cancer survivors, and show those affected by cancer they are not alone.

The event is chip timed and awards will be given in the following categories: 12 and under, 18 and under,  21 and under, 30 and under, 45 and under, 60 and under, 61 and over, best overall male and female also best cancer survivor male and female.

PRICE: $25.00 Race Fee Youth Registration (17 & under) for $15.00

Shirts are available for an additional $15 fee.
