Glow in the Park 5K - North Vernon

Scipio Elementary Student Council is hosting a glow-in-the-dark themed 5k run/walk. We welcome runners of all ages. Deck out in all of your bright, colorful, and glowing attire. There will be a trophy for best GLOW costume. All of the profits and donations from this event will go to the Scipio Elementary School to pay for student school supplies and other educational supplies for the students. 

Race Information
There will be two separate races. The competitive run will begin at 8:00 p.m. This run is for everyone that wants to compete to win.  We will time this race and call out your time as you finish.  The top runner in each age group will receive a trophy. You can also choose to run/walk just for fun following the competitive run at 9:00 p.m. You may do both at no additional cost (you only need to register for the competitive run if you are planning on doing both). Every participant will receive a glow-in-the-dark participation medal! You can also purchase a glow-in-the-dark shirt for an additional $8 until April 30. Go to our store to purchase additional glow in the dark shirts.

Entry Fee
ALL ENTRY FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. We are accepting entries online or you may choose to fill out a registration form and turn in cash at Scipio Elementary by May 5. The entry fee is based on age. The price for those under 16 years old will be discounted at checkout. Children 5 and under are FREE.
***EVERYONE planning on running/walking the Glow in the Park 5K MUST complete a registration form and sign the waiver!

 5 and Under: FREE (Must sign up to receive a participation medal)
6-15 yrs. old:  $10 + $2.50 processing fee
16 and Older: $17 + $2.50 processing fee

Prizes
Every participant will receive a glow in the dark medal. Trophies will also be awarded for the top male and female in each age group and for BEST costume. You may purchase a glow-in-the-dark shirt for an additional $8. The age groups are as follows:
