Go Nuts Rush

The Go Nuts Rush is a 5K for Camp Acorn.  Camp Acorn is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit that serves children and adults with special needs and disabilities in Northern Jersey. They are a community dedicated to empowering those with special needs to reach their full potential and live life to the fullest. Camp Acorn offers enrichment programs year round, including classes in cooking and life skills, horticulture therapy, art therapy, music and drama, sports, boot camp fitness (an adaptive exercise program), computers, and swimming. The programs are designed to be challenging yet fun and all activities are adapted to the individual needs of each camper. The dedicated staff and volunteers work passionately towards building a society based on acceptance, compassion, and inclusion, where people are treated with love, dignity and respect.  That’s Camp Acorn in a nutshell!
