Goshen Gallop 3K Cross Country Fun Run

June 14, 2019 # 1

Please join us for our inaugural Goshen Gallop!

Come help us save the green space and see the horses out in Oldham County while enjoying a 3k fun run out in the country!

This race is set up to simulate the cross country phase of the equestrian discipline of 3-Day Eventing.  This course will take you out of the start box and thru the red and white flagged jumps over ditches up and down banks through the woods and water to show you how horse and rider navigate this phase of our sport. The thrill of our game is during this adrenaline rich phase!

Bring a cooler and some beverages to tailgate afterwards with music and visit with local equestrians and conservators who are passionate about preserving the green space around us for those who love the outdoors and who want to protect our precious environment.  This is an equestrian themed event so make sure to bring your equine lovers to pet the ponies!

Proceeds will benefit the future Oldham County Equestrian Park planned at the old Longfield Farm at the corner of 1694 and U.S. Highway 42 as well as the USEA Area VIII Young Rider Equestrian Team including local team member Tate Northrop and their quest to compete at the National Championships in Kalispell Montana July 26-28, 2019.
