About the event
This FREE event includes a 5K Run/Walk/Roll or a 1 mile noncompetitive walk/roll at The Governor’s Residence at Woodburn. Not able to make it to the on-site event? Sign up for the off-site 5K and you can fully participate from right where you are. All you need to do is accumulate your steps on Wednesday, May 3rd, by walking, jogging, or running 6,400 steps, roughly the equivalent of a 5K.
The Governor’s Cup’s unique design not only encourages a physically active lifestyle, but brings together participants statewide with the common goal of promoting overall well-being. This event is only available to State of Delaware employees, pensioners, and faculty and staff from all public school districts and charter schools.
