GreenFest on the Greenbelt

This run will take place during GreenFest on the Greenbelt a health, wellness, and recreation festival that will have food and activities for the whole family. The 5K will be timed and almost entirely off-road. The course will take you along the beautiful Greenbelt Trail and across the historic Elm Fork Bridge. The 1 Mile Fun Run will be around the festival area for all of the spectators to enjoy

All participants of the 5K will receive a swag-bag with sponsor goodies, event t-shirt and finisher medal.

The 5K will have prizes for the top 3 overall male and female finishers as well as top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups:
14 & under
15-24
25-34
35-44
45-54
55-64
65 & over

The goal of this event is to raise funds for the Texas State Parks and Wildlife Greenbelt Corridor. We are partnering with The Greenbelt Alliance of Denton County, A 501(c)3 nonprofit. They are a community-based, volunteer organization that fosters awareness of the Greenbelt.

There will be a pre-race packet pick up on Thursday April 4 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the race site. If you are not able to make it just plan on arriving early enough race day to pick up your packet.
