Greenwood Furnace Trail Challenge

Event Description: The Greenwood Furnace Trail Challenge is an intense, rugged, single track half-marathon. A figure 8 route of rocky climbs and nasty downhills; it starts at Greenwood Furnace State Park, climbs to the fire tower, drops down in to Alan Seeger Natural Area before climbing back to the tower, and then returns down to the park.

 
Race registration starts at 7:00 AM at Pavilion #1.
 
There will be signs posted and volunteers to direct you to parking and registration once you arrive at the park.
 
Runners will be directed to walk/warm-up by taking a short trail behind the pavilion to the starting line for a prompt 8:00 AM start.
