Griffin Ford Fort 14 & 5K

Griffin Ford Lincoln #FORT14 takes place in beautiful Fort Atkinson, WI. This 14 mile road race is (as far as we have seen) the only organized 14 mile road race in the country. Participants enjoy free race photos, post race food, beer and entertainment, gender specific race shirts, finish medals, free runner tracking and more.

Course Details

RE-FUEL STATIONS: Seven refuel stations are located along the route. 
   Mile 2.3 - water, gatorade, bathrooms
   Mile 3.8 - water, gatorade, energy bars, grapes, bathrooms
   Mile 5.3 - water, gatorade, goldfish, grapes
   Mile 7 - water, gatorade, cola, energy gels, grapes, bathrooms
   Mile 8.5 - water, gatorade, cola, goldfish, grapes, skittles
   Mile 10.8 - water, gatorade, cola, gold fish, grapes, skittles, bathrooms
   Mile 12.5 - water, gatorade, cola, , goldfish, grapes, skittles


ON COURSE SUPPORT: Male and Females lead cars from Griffin Auto. 
   On-course medical is located at mile 9 and on call throught the event
   7 refuel stations are spread out along the route
   Follow vehicle stays behind the final participants at all times
   Runner support vehicles drive throughout the route during the event


PACE GROUPS: The following pace groups are present to help you meet your race goal.
  1:31:00 finish time (6:45min per mile pace)
  1:38:00 finish time (7:00min per mile pace)
  1:45:00 finish time (7:30min per mile pace)
  1:52:00 finish time (8:00min per mile pace)
  1:59:00 finish time (8:30min per mile pace)
  2:06:00 finish time (9:00min per mile pace)
  2:13:00 finish time (9:30min per mile pace)
  2:20:00 finish time (10:00min per mile pace)

                                        - A valid US Drivers License can also be shown to pickup your packet
 
Family / Friend Pickup: If you would like to have a family member or friend pick up your packet for you, they must have a copy of your photo ID (either digital or paper). Please have it ready when you go to their line to get their packet so you can show it to the volunteers.
